The university is strategically located in Rome, which facilitates collaboration with various national and international academic and research entities.

In the context of the AI4AGRI project, the University of Rome Tor Vergata brings its expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and Earth Observation (EO) technologies. The Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT), established in 1990, is a leading French research institute dedicated to advancing computer science and its applications. As a partner in the AI4AGRI project, IRIT brings its extensive expertise in artificial intelligence and earth observation data to support the sustainable development of agriculture in Romania.
