This local event will celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the Copernicus – the Earth Observation component of the European Union’s Space programme. The event will take place in person on 8th of June 2023, starting with 9am, within the R&D Institute of Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania. The agenda for the event will include an overview of the Copernicus programme given by Serban Oprisescu, PhD, a live retransmission of the main event in Stockholm and a round table discussion on the importance of Copernicus free data for the successful implementation of the AI4AGRI European project. The event will be moderated by assistant professor Radu Coliban.
